Changes are happening at Steinbach Chiropractic Clinic, including staff increases and a change of name!
Dr. Terry Kehler, DC, has been practicing in southeastern Manitoba for over 30 years. Originally combining his practice with that of Doctor Ken Doerksen, DC to create Steinbach Chiropractic Clinic in 1995. Kehler now leads the team at the revamped Steinbach Chiropractic Health & Wellness.
“We’ve had a lot of practitioners join our clinic over the years,” says Kehler. “And have decided that a more inclusive name change would reflect our multidisciplinary staff.”
Staff at Steinbach Chiropractic Health & Wellness Clinic include a naturopath, six massage therapists, a physiotherapist, and 6 practitioners who do acupuncture.
“All of these in combination give patients way more information and access,” says Kehler.
In discussion with staff on-site, it is clear that there is a lot of pride in the level of clinical assessment provided. Jayne Enns, R.M.T states “We want our patients to get back to feeling their best as quickly as possible.”
Caleb Fenton and Jessica Swan, massage therapists on staff, agree, adding that the entire massage team have experience and training for sports injuries, infants, pregnancy, cupping, hot stone therapy, TMJ, and even those with disabilities or living with cancer.
Also on staff is Jamieson Krentz, a longstanding physiotherapist offering hands-on therapy, acupuncture, and strength training.
Dr. Erin Esau is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor whose goal is to identify and remove barriers to health. Naturopathic medicine blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. Dr. Kehler shares that she boasts a wealth of health information, and staff often consult with her about supplements, vitamins, and medical conditions.
Steinbach Chiropractic Health & Wellness Clinic is also a concussion management clinic - Complete Concussion Management Inc. Dr. Kehler himself is trained in acute and persistent concussions (PCS). He notes that treatment of concussions requires a lot of training and experience, and is thankful that his team is able to provide such care. The Clinic also offers a free app called 'Concussion Tracker' that provides helpful information for coaches, parents and athletes.
Kehler acknowledges that the current increase to three on-site chiropractors has also greatly reduced wait times for clients requiring immediate care.
Those looking for in-depth holistic care are sure to find what they’re looking for at this clinic. Kehler notes that same-day appointments are nearly always possible, and is pleased with the company’s new online booking service. Clients are also encouraged to call the office after booking their appointment online and ask to be added to a wait list.
