There is no place to be like Portage this weekend to see all that the Portage Ex Fair has to offer.
President of the Portage Ex Fair board, Sonya Smith says this year’s fair will be a good one. Volunteers and organizers are getting everything set up to make the event a memorable weekend, with fun for everyone.
To get the excitement spiked for the fair, the organizers put on a parade Wednesday evening. Project Patio had our car in the parade, there was a great energy throughout the parade between the candy and all the smiling faces.
The Portage Ex will be happening this Friday to Sunday with something for everyone. Smith notes all the different acts coming to the entertainment stage not only outside but also in the MNP building.
The performers throughout the weekend include Pop Vegas, Jukebox Heroes, ZZ Topless, Zed Zepplin, Ozbourne Tribute Band, Don Amero, Sean Taylor Band, and many more.
With all these artists, the Portage Ex is the place to be. Smith comments that they have new food truck vendors, beer gardens, livestock events, and rides for the whole family.
She says everyone is always thrilled about the midway, but to not forget about all the events and vendors inside the MNP building.
Many highlights are coming up for this year’s Portage Ex, Project Patio will be there Friday and Saturday with our Blue Moon Water and Ballet Box so that you have the chance to win a patio set.
