From poetry slams to songwriting, this weekend's returning Made in Manitoba guest has always been drawn to the written and spoken word. Thank you for joining us as we re-introduce Winnipeg's Larysa Musick. The singer-songwriter initially joined us almost exactly a year ago on the program and describes her own music as “eclectic” & “nostalgic”. We are yet again, featuring music from her debut album from last year “Tomorrow is Bound to Come” on the encore presentation, today!
The journey to releasing her first album started about four years ago, and has been supported by past Made in Manitoba guests Sierra Noble and Madeline Roger, who produced and engineered Larysa's album respectively. And they did much more than that, including providing invaluable mentorship as Larysa found her musical voice and sound.
