It is officially the last week of July and there are lots of activities this weekend to celebrate!
Country Truckin’ - Friday, July 26
PBX Trucking is hosting a fundraiser for three great organizations including Headway, ROC Eastman, and YFC Blumenort.
Head over to 100 Center Ave, Blumenort and enjoy a truck show, delicious food, and live music from Young & Haggard, The Coveralls, Emma Peterson, Jaryn Friesen, and Doc Walker. The event begins at 5pm.
Enjoy a great show while showing support to some incredible organizations. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased through their website.
Friendship Festival – July 26 - 28
A weekend of fun with friends at the Landmark Arena for the annual Friendship Festival. Kicking off the fun on Friday at 5:30pm with watermelon and roll kuchen and hot dog roast, mechanical bulls, floor hockey tournament, and live music. The softball tournament will be going on all weekend.
Saturday has lots of family fun including Kids Fun Zone, magic show, vendor village, and more. Ending off the night with music from ‘The Cracked Eggshell’ and fireworks.

Summer Movies – Friday, July 26
Jake Epp Library is hosting free admission and free popcorn movie in the afternoon. Doors open at 1:15pm and the movie will begin at 1:30pm.
Seating is first come, first served and the movie being played is Brave!
Summer Fun on the Ridge – Saturday, July 27
Have some fun in Woodridge this weekend from 11am to 4pm at M.A. Querel Community Park and Picnic Shelter. There will be lots of activities including horseshoes, bouncy castles, treasure hunt, family races, and more.
Enjoy a free BBQ lunch, served from 11am to 2pm.
Adult & Teen Challenge SuperThrift Steinbach – Saturday, July 27
Celebrate the 1-year anniversary of SuperThrift Steinbach. Join them at 354 Main Street, Steinbach for a free BBQ lunch from 11am to 1pm. Opening ceremony will begin at 11:30am.
