They have some amazing events and displays planned for the weekend, including the Snowbirds, CF-18 Demonstration Team, Skyhawks, Northern Stars Aeroteam, and so much more.

One of the biggest highlights for the airshow this year is going to be the Avro Lancaster bomber. It is a WWII aircraft that is new to the airshow and is sure to keep everyone entertained. They also have various food trucks, vendors, and beer gardens on the grounds. As well as an aviator’s tent to keep the kids entertained throughout the weekend with unique activities.

Another big event happening this weekend is the Canadian National Ukranian Festival which is being held in Dauphin. They have a wide variety of entertainment this year from traditional Ukranian music and dancing, as well as many local artists coming to the main stage. Throughout the weekend they will have children’s activities, a polka party, and even a perogy eating contest. There will be something for everyone at the Ukranian Festival.

The Icelandic Festival of Manitoba is also being held this weekend from Friday to Monday. Gimli has been hosting the festival since 1932, and each year they still have something unique. Over the weekend, they will have many different performances and parades. They will have food trucks, midway rides, and the famous Viking Village. In this, they will provide different arts and crafts, vendors, entertainment, and much more.
