Happy August long weekend! As the summer continues to fly by, there are still many events each weekend for the family to attend.

It is officially Pioneer Days in Steinbach this weekend and there’s so much going on.

Kicking off the weekend on Friday morning, the 56th annual parade will begin at 10am at the East end of Main Street. It will continue down Main, cross Highway 12, and end at North Front Drive.

Bring the kids down and prepare for cool floats and lots of candy!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to watch the parade, Steinbach Family Resource Centre is hosting a parade party with lots of activities for the kids and food trucks.

Head over for their pancake breakfast at 9am, watch the parade, and stay for the fun activities till 2pm.

After the parade, check out Millbrook Market for RE/MAX’s customer appreciation event from 11:30am to 2:30pm.

Enjoy free mini donuts and popcorn, bouncy castles, and experience a tethered balloon ride!
