Carrie Underwood surprises Tennessee congregation with special worship performance

An unexpected worship performance at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee left the congregation in awe Sunday. 

Country music superstar, eight-time Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum singer, Carrie Underwood joined the worship band and sang alongside the team, including a solo during 'Goodness of God.'

The talented artist graced the stage in a neutral linen dress, sandals and light makeup, allowing her to connect in worship.

Carrie Underwood is currently preparing to return to American Idol where she will join the judging panel alongside, Luke Bryan and Lionel Ritchie.
