Another food delivery app arrives in Strathmore on Thursday.

Strathmore has achieved the trifecta of food delivery apps.

Uber Eats, a popular food delivery app, announced it would launch in Strathmore on Thursday (Aug. 29). The app allows residents to order delivery from restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, and other local businesses.

"Uber Eats is now available in over 300 cities across the country, expanding rapidly as more Canadians embrace the convenience of delivery," wrote an Uber Eats representative in a news release.

Local stores included for the launch of Uber Eats in Strathmore include:

  • Husky House Restaurant.
  • Booster Juice.
  • Smiley's Restaurant & Lounge.
  • Little Caesars.
  • Imperial Dragon.
  • Papa Johns.
  • Mike's Bar & Grill.
  • Pizza 73.
  • Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
  • Dairy Queen.

MrBeast Burger, a virtual brand run out of local kitchens, is also available for orders. The brand is based on Mr. Beast, a popular YouTuber. 

Thursday also marked the expansion of Uber Eats in other towns and cities across Canada, including:

  • Estevan, Saskatchewan.
  • Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
  • Dauphin, Manitoba.
  • Morden, Manitoba.
  • Selkirk, Manitoba.
  • Lockport, Manitoba.
  • Edson, Alberta.
  • Coaldale, Alberta.
  • Taber, Alberta.

With SkipTheDishes announcing its arrival to Strathmore in July, the town now has the three major food delivery apps; Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash.
