Jessica Garrioch, event coordinator with the town says she's expecting a good turnout.

"I'm hoping for roughly 500 to 1,000 people."

According to Garrioch, it's important to remember the history of Alberta.

"Especially with the Strathmore Standard and Heritage Park, as well as Ducks Unlimited with fishing. It's acknowledging our wetlands and history of Strathmore."

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
