Families from across the province came together for a big festival for a low cost of $0 on September 1.

Fun with Family kicked off with a Sunday morning service at 10 a.m. with several people gathered for a time of praise and worship and a short message.

All afternoon, there was music from local and new talent such as Preston Tanghe, LMNK, Ryan Anzo, $2 Bill and His Bad Pennies, the Szakacs Family, and Danielle Savard.

There were tons of activities for the whole family including a petting zoo, face painting, bouncy castles, food trucks, and the thrill zone.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the music on the main stage kicked off with Carine Bado singing and sharing the messages behind some of her songs, including 'Perfectly Made' and 'Found and Crowned.'

Juno award winner, Jordan St. Cyr then took the stage in his home province. Fans got insight to some of St. Cyr's top singles including 'Fires' and 'Weary Traveler.'

A year after Nathan Keys performed on the second stage, he was invited back to be on the mainstage. He led the crowd in a time of worship and played a couple of original songs.

New B.C. resident, Brooke Nicholls followed and continued leading the crowd in worship with songs like 'Battle Belongs' and 'What A Beautiful Name.'

Nicholls' trip to Manitoba was different than expected after her youngest daughter, 9-month-old Emmy, woke up with measles the day before the family was set to come to Manitoba. Her husband stayed home with the baby and Brooke was able to bring her older daughter Shiloh to see the 'My Lighthouse' singers as Irish band, Rend Collective was the headliner for the festival.

Rend Collective did not disappoint coming out singing 'Revival Anthem.' Lead singer, Chris Llewellyn got the audience to Irish dance and let the crowd know he loves Tim Hortons. Not because of the food or coffee, but how excited Canadians get when someone says they love it.

Rend Collective fans also got to hear the group play 'Build Your Kingdom Here,' 'My Lighthouse,'  'Hallelujah Anyway,' and 'Counting Every Blessing' among others.

The band wrapped up with fireworks going off in an incredible show.
