Blue Bomber Brandon Alexander talks faith, football, and music

Going from a walk-on for his collegiate football team to becoming one of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive backs, Brandon Alexander has had a difficult road to get to where he is today.

"I was playing out of position in high school for three and a half years. I was playing defensive end and I was 140-150, but then I walked over to UCF (University of Central Florida) and I had my opportunity there when they put me at the corner," Alexander says.

Camp Arnes reflects on 75 years of 'God's grace and provision'

After 75 years of ministering to kids each summer, Camp Arnes north of Winnipeg is celebrating all that God has done. 

"Seventy-five years of God's grace and provision," says Neoma Greene, a volunteer and she is also a board member at the camp. "We've got a couple events planned for the weekend. We've got Bread we Break concert and message on the Friday and on Sunday we have a day full of celebration."

Juno-award-winning Winnipeg Christian artist Steve Bell is releasing a new single ahead of his 23rd studio album, The Glad Surprise.

"Right around the time Russia invaded Ukraine, Bruce Cockburn's song, 'Lovers in a Dangerous Time,' started rolling around in my brain," says Bell. "He wrote it during the Cold War when he had a lot of fears for his daughter and her friends, what their future might be. Now, with many, many wars going on, love ends up being a miracle."
