Matthew West released his new single “Last Page of the Bible” featuring Anne Wilson, just ahead of his new album set to be released next month.
"This song is inspired by the late Billy Graham who famously said, ‘I’ve read the last page of the Bible and it all works out in the end,’" says West. "The last page of the Bible says, ‘He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.’ I love this verse in Revelation 22:20. It reminds us of the ultimate hope we have in our God who reigns in victory! I hope you love it."
West's new album, Don't Stop Praying is coming out on October 4, 2024.
West has worked with Wilson often, most recently collaborating and co-writing for Wilson's sophomore album released in April called REBEL.
"We wrote this song together with our friend Jeff Pardo, and I love the heart behind it," shared Wilson. "The world that we’re living in today is such a dark and painful place, and there’s so much going on. This song is a reminder that Jesus is coming back, and one day, there will be no more crying, no more tears, no more suffering. There will be perfect peace and perfect joy. This was such a fun song to get to create, thank you Matthew for having me be a part of it. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!"
West is taking his new album and heading on the Don't Stop Praying tour across the U.S. this fall.
