To cap off the end of the summer, a bull riding event will be held in Strathmore later this month.

September 21 marks the fourth annual 'Last Cowboy Standing', hosted by Lazy P Rodeo Company. The event will take place at the Strathmore Ag Grounds.

There will be 28 bull riders competing in an elimination-style competition.

"Generally in bull riding, there's a long round and a short round. Fourteen riders will come back in round two, and six will come back in round three," said Cale Pribyl, owner of Lazy P.

Pribyl says he's expecting a turnout of between 600 and 800 people. The event will feature fun giveaways, beer gardens, food trucks, and even a halftime show.

"It won't really be a show, more like a half-time game kind of stuff," added Pribyl.

You can purchase tickets for the event on the Lazy P Rodeo Company's website.
