Danger tree causes road closure in Strathmore

There will be a temporary road closure in Strathmore on Friday (Sept. 13).

According to the town's website, crews will remove a tree on Cambridge Glen Drive, between Cambridge Crescent North and Cambridge Crescent South. 

Staff with the town say a 'danger tree' is any tree that may fall due to damage, defects, or diseases. A falling tree can cause injury, property damage, or even death.

The road work was expected to start at noon and last until 4 p.m., but as of 12:40 p.m., the work had not begun yet.
