Excitement is building as vendors and creators prepare to showcase their unique offerings at the upcoming Morden Pop Culture Expo, taking place Saturday and Sunday. Among the many participants are first-time vendors, sisters Aliya and Anika Epp, with their slime creations, and seasoned exhibitor Alex Peters, known for his intricate 3D-printed collectibles.

Bouncy Bunny Slimes Makes Its Expo Debut
Aliya and Anika, co-founders of Bouncy Bunny Slimes, will be selling their handcrafted slimes for the first time at the Expo. The young entrepreneurs, who were personally invited by event organizer Trent, are excited to show off their creations. "Slime is kind of like a stress reliever," said Aliya. "If you need to relieve some stress, just give it a poke or pull it. It has a wet, stretchy feeling that most people really like."
Anika added that they make their slime using different bases, like clay or glue. "Slime is either glue-based or clay-based. We have butter slime, which has a clay base, and glossy slime, which makes good bubble pops."
While the duo is new to the expo scene, they’re confident that their vibrant, fun, and unique slimes will attract plenty of visitors.
3D Printing Magic with Axel’s Creations
Another exciting exhibitor is Alex Peters, co-founder of Axel’s Creations and Collectibles, a small business that specializes in 3D printing hand-painted anime and pop culture figures. Alex and his wife have been attending conventions since 2019 and are thrilled to have such a large-scale event happening locally.
"We’re super pumped for it," said Alex. "This is certainly the biggest one I’ve seen in recent years."
Alex brought a few of his favorite pieces to the radio studio, including popular characters like Misty from Pokémon and Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen, as well as smaller items such as Charmander and Gengar.
When asked about his creative process, Alex explained, "We subscribe to a phenomenal Patreon group called NomNom Figures. Every month they supply us with amazing 3D sculpts, and we pay a licensing fee to sell the physical versions at markets, shows, and online."
Excitement for the Weekend Ahead
Both Bouncy Bunny Slimes and Axel’s Creations are ready for a weekend full of fun, surprises, and community. Alex shared his excitement about discovering new things at the expo. "I like to keep things a secret for myself so it’s more of a surprise when I find something unique and cool around the area."
The Pop Culture Expo promises to be the biggest yet, with everything from video games to trading cards and, of course, plenty of slime and 3D-printed collectibles. Whether you’re looking for a creative slime recipe or a custom anime figure, this weekend is sure to deliver.
