RCMP herded the rest fo the cattle to safety with the help of local ranchers.

The Estevan RCMP reported a rollover on Highway 39 near Midale which left several cattle dead and a driver injured.
On September 21 at around 8 a.m., Estevan RCMP received that report of a semi rollover with officers immediately responding.
The driver of the semi was then taken to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
The driver was hauling 100 cattle with the trailer, of which 22 died due to the collision. The RCMP detachment did engage in veterinary care for the cattle.
RCMP received the assistance of local ranchers who helped to herd the cattle which were transported to safety.
Estevan RCMP says that its investigation continues.
