Arrest Warrant – Failure to Attend Court

On September 26th at 10:30AM police conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Braecrest Drive. A 26-year-old female in the vehicle had an unendorsed warrant for Failure to Attend Court. She was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on September 27th, 2024.

Arrest Warrant – Failure to Attend Court

On September 26th at 11:15AM police attended a residence in Westaway Bay and executed a Winnipeg Police Service endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Failure to Attend Court. The 23-year-old female was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of November 27, 2024.

Assault Peace Officer

On September 26th at 12:11PM, while tending to a passed-out male in front of the Cadets office, an officer was punched in the chest. The 55-year-old male was highly intoxicated and arrested. He was held in detention cells and will be released on an Appearance Notice once sober. Court date set for December 12, 2024.

RCMP Warrant Executed

On September 26th at 12:20PM police attended a residence in the 300 block of 11th Street for a call of an evicted tenant who was at the residence. There was an unendorsed RCMP Warrant of Arrest for the 31-year-old female. She was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on September 27th, 2024.

Fraud Under $5000 /Extortion / Utter Forged Document / Theft of Motor Vehicle

On September 26th at 1:20PM police attended a residence in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue and arrested a 24-year-old female on the strength of the unendorsed Warrant of Arrest. She was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on September 27th, 2024.

Possession of Dangerous Weapon / Failure to Comply with Release Order / Theft Under $5000

On September 26th at 2:20PM police received a call of a male, in the 1500 block of 18th Street, waving a knife and yelling at people. The 25-year-old male was located, arrested and found to still be in possession of the knife – of which he admitted to stealing from a store in the 800 block of 18th Street. He was on a Release Order not to be in possession of knives (except when eating food). The male was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on September 27th, 2024.

On September 26th at 3:40PM a 44-year-old female attended BPS and was arrested on the strength of an unendorsed Warrant of Arrest. She was held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on September 27th, 2024.
