‘SaskPower does not send e-transfers’: Company warning customers on current scam

An e-transfer scam currently circulating is targeting SaskPower customers.  

The e-mail appears to be an e-transfer from a SaskPower Carbon Council, asking people to click on a button to deposit funds from the Government of Saskatchewan to their financial institution. 

SaskPower says they do not send e-transfers and urge people to advise police if they have clicked on the link.
