Sixth person charged in death of Calgary woman

A sixth person has been charged by RCMP related to the death of Calgarian Tara Miller.

Miller's body was found near Highway 522 and 128 Street near Okotoks on March 30, 2023.

Police say the death was a homicide and on Thursday (Nov. 21) Ahmed Chehade was arrested and charged with manslaughter.

Chehade will appear in a Calgary court on Nov. 25.

Just over a week ago on Wednesday (Nov. 13) Paul Fettig was also arrested and charged with manslaughter.

Earlier this year on January 18, police arrested four people for the murder of Miller including Gurpreet Gill, Greg Schuster, and Shyana Popplestone of Calgary, and Jared Burke from Wheatland County.

Gill was charged with first-degree murder and the other three were charged with manslaughter.
