With all this under their belt, Dino’s is something of a local expert in the appliance field.

Owner Brent Gertridge is excited to welcome people in to check out the “live appliances” in their showroom.

“When we talk about ‘live appliances’, we’re referring to connected models that are fully operational, allowing customers to explore the latest technology firsthand,” Gertridge explains. “For example, we feature live laundry pairs, where you can experience how Smart connectivity makes a difference- from setting cycles remotely… to receiving maintenance alerts.”

Gertridge notes that seeing appliances in action helps customers understand how they can add value, convenience, and efficiency to their homes.

One of the most recognizable brands at Dino’s is GE- a company that is constantly innovating to enhance convenience, sustainability, and versatility. Standout features include energy efficient designs that are both cost-effective and environmentally friendly, Smart connectivity for remote control and monitoring, and multifunctional capabilities like built-in air fryers and convection heat, reducing the need for additional appliances.

These days, appliances are seen as an extension of a home’s style.

“Modern appliances have evolved to complement a kitchen’s aesthetic,” says Gertridge. “With choices like custom panel-ready designs that blend into cabinetry, bold colors for those wanting a pop of personality, and sleek counter-depth models for a streamlined look.”

He lists stainless steel as a popular, classic choice, but notes that slate finishes are currently trending, giving homeowners plenty of ways to make their kitchen appliances part of a cohesive vision.

When shopping for appliances, Gertridge stresses the importance of evaluating your space and layout, and taking proper measurements. Consider efficiency, and choose models that align with your energy goals. This could include deciding between gas or electric.

“Match your appliances with your style and needs,” he suggests. “Avid bakers might appreciate convection ovens, while busy families would benefit from Smart appliances. Also, think about long-term maintenance and service needs- make sure the brand and model that you choose has reliable servicing options and parts availability.”

As for maintenance and service, that part is quite easy at Dino’s! They’re proud to service what they sell, standing behind all their products by offering in-house service for all appliances purchased at Dino’s.

“We’re dedicated to supporting our customers with ongoing maintenance and repairs, helping to extend the life of their appliances. We do this so that our customers have a direct line of support from people who know their appliances inside and out.”

The Dino’s service area covers Central Plains and the surrounding communities.
