Get ready to make Christmas cards and sing carols with Made in Manitoba's, Phoebe Pedrina.
Pedrina will be at the Canadian Bible Society tomorrow, Nov. 30. "I am running a set for about 40 minutes of Christmas and worship music," Pedrina said. "There's also going to be Christmas card-making and snacks, so a lot of festive activities going on in the store."
She says she's excited to go and join in on the fun. "It's a lot of fun festive things, it's a nice time to sit down and make some fun cards. If you want to get out on Saturday, it's a great time to do that."
While it's not her first time performing, she is excited about the opportunity. "I've been singing in front of people forever, but I think that it's nice to get out of my comfort zone and try something new.
Pedrina says this performance will feature some Christmas classics, along with her own songs. "I love them because they're definitely my genre. Also, some of my own songs because I would love to share them and maybe even some songs that I've been writing."
It's been over seven months since Pedrina released 'Metamorphosis' and she's excited about new music that is in the works. "I am looking forward to putting out new music that represents me more accurately. With my first EP and the last single, it was a time in my life when there were a lot of transitions. Now I'm starting to settle into who I am and there's a lot more confidence in the music and the artistry is better because I've been able to go at it for a while."
Christmas celebration with carols and cards from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. is at the Canadian Bible Society, Unit 13/14 584 Pembina Highway. While there is no cost to attend, they are asking for RSVP's here.
