Envision Counselling and Support Centre is calling 2024 a remarkable year for growth. In the organization's Christmas newsletter, they shared that the year was filled with opportunities to strengthen their services, expand their impact, and build on their commitment to creating resilient, connected communities in southeast Saskatchewan.

Envision's work has touched the lives of countless individuals and families, helping them navigate difficult times, find hope, and move forward stronger.

"Whether it was through our counselling sessions, in-home supports, workshops, or community outreach programs, your support has made all the difference."

This year also marked a new Vision and a new Mission Statement for Envision:

The Vision: supported, empowered and connected individuals throughout all communities in Southeast Saskatchewan.

The Mission: to provide inclusive supports that nurture healing, resilience, and positive change.

The statements are reflective of the organization's commitment to fostering an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and find the help they need during difficult moments.

One highlight for 2024 was Envision celebrated its 30th anniversary.

To mark the milestone, Open House events were hosted during Victims and Survivors of Crime Week

"The events were dedicated to honoring those impacted by crime and raising awareness about the essential support services available to them."

Envision also took part in the 43rd annual Weyburn Communithon, the funds from which go towards the salary of a full-time intake counsellor.

Envision has also seen significant growth development in 2024, "Enhancing our capability to serve the community effectively."

Through continuous training, professional development, and strategic new hires, Envision has equipped their counsellors and support staff with the necessary skills and resources to meet the evolving needs within the service region. The investment in their team also has allowed them to deliver more comprehensive and responsive care.

Envision has also been dedicated to building partnerships and enhancing collaboration with local organizations and First Nations Reservations. By engaging in meaningful dialogue and working closely together, their aim is to develop mutual understanding and respect, ultimately enhancing their collective impact.

Envision states the work they do would not be possible without the incredible support of their donors and community partners, which has enabled them to provide free, accessible services to those who need it the most. From financial contributions to in-kind support, every gesture has played a critical role in empowering their work and driving positive change in the lives of those they serve.
