Altona MCC invited the Pembina Valley Pregnancy Care Centre to partner on raising awareness and funds to highlight the good work each organization is doing. In past years Altona MCC has generously provided financial support to the Pregnancy Care Centre so that more women, men, couples and families can receive help when facing challenges related to an unexpected pregnancy.

Today, Altona MCC is dedicating 100% of sales from Wednesday January 29th to the Pregnancy Care Centre! Store hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm.

PVPCC Workers becoming MCC volunteers for a day

Linda Marek, Executive Director at Pregnancy Care said, “We have been blessed by the generosity of Altona MCC, and we are so glad they asked us to be a part of this special event! It’s wonderful for us to join the MCC volunteers for a day, while also raising awareness of Pregnancy Care supports. It’s a win, win! People shopping at MCC January 29th can feel really good knowing they are part of extending meaningful help to women facing unexpected challenges.”

MCC's focus on supporting local organizations

Dave Rempel, Manager at Altona MCC said, “At Altona MCC Thrift we are committed to supporting the global efforts of MCC in relief, development and peace. We are also excited to continue our support of local organizations such as Pembina Valley Pregnancy Care Centre. Although we have long supported various local organizations such as Pregnancy Care, we wanted to give more exposure to our partnership. As a result, we have designated Wednesday January 29th as Pembina Valley Pregnancy Care Centre Day and they will receive all the sales generated on that day.”
