I have shared with you this journey of becoming an Okotoks Oiler billet family and we are over halfway through our first season, so it feels only fitting I bring you along for the appreciation night they had for us.
It was so fun, we arrived an hour before the team played their Friday night game versus the Vernon Vipers and were given our billets' jerseys to put on for the night.
It was lovely getting to visit with the other Billet families over snacks.
About 15 minutes before the game started we were asked to all line up outside of the dressing room where we were brought out as a large group and given flowers from our players and we got a picture all together.
Jason and I were then asked to participate in some intermission fun and we got to do the tire roll AND WE WON!!!
Then to end this amazing fun evening the people next to us WON THE 50/50
They are two buddies and have a handshake deal to split it if they won.
