There is one last chance to dip the lines in the lake for big cash prizes this winter with the Lucien Lake Regional Park Ice Fishing Tournament. The tourney is set to go on Saturday, March 15 from 12:30 – 4:00 pm. Registration takes place no later than 12:00 pm on tournament day at the Middle Lake Multiplex.
Prize payouts include 20 percent for first place, 15 percent for second place, 10 percent for third place and 5 percent for fourth. Early bird prizes are on the line as well as the chance at a 50/50 draw. The pre-registration deadline is March 14.
Fishing shacks, electronics and ice augers are all permissible. The fishing area will be marked for the tournament. The concession with refreshments will be available throughout the day until 8:00 pm at the Multiplex.
Registration cost is $50 per hole pre-registered, and $60 per hole the day of the tournament.
