A Christian ministry based out of Winnipeg is sharing what God is up to in Ukraine with a ministry couple that has been working with them for decades.

Square One World Media is bringing Nikolai and Natalia Chernomor to Manitoba from Ukraine to share insights on how the gospel is being shared during a time of war.

"They were our ministry partners for the last 25 years," says Shoaib Ebadi, the president and executive director with Square One. "They are producing Christian media in Ukraine in different formats such as podcasts and videos, ever since the war started."

The couple will be speaking at a few venues while in Manitoba, including at a coffee house fundraiser on Wed. April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Grace Cafe in Winnipeg. Reservations must be made ahead of time and can be done so by calling 204-667-9576 or emailing info@s1wm.com.

"They will be talking about real-life stories. You hear on the news what is happening, but they'll share about their work. How they help wounded people, displaced people, and give hope to the desperate people. They don't know whether tomorrow they'll be alive or not."

The couple will also be speaking at Calvary Temple on Saturday. April 26, at McIvor Church on April 26 & 27, as well as Eastview Community Church on April 27.
