The Weyburn Credit Union Spark Centre’s spring programming is in full swing with events for all ages.

Leisure Services Manager with the City of Weyburn, Amanda Wallace, explains what's coming up at the facility, beginning with their Tot Turf Time. This runs Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for children aged zero to five.

For local teens, they are hosting a Creating Together Teens class with art gallery curator Regan Lanning.

“We are going to be doing a milk jug earring project with our famous Regan Lanning. This will happen on May 3rd from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. And it's $30 each. So please register your teen and accompany them. You don't have to register the adult.”

As for adult programming, there are two events upcoming. The first is a Make a Mug class on April 29th running from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. for $45 each. The second is building clay gnomes on June 8th. That will run from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is $30.

There will also be another event with Lanning.

“We are doing a Pet Portrait with Regan Lanning on July 26th from 1 to 3 p.m. It is $30 each and it will correlate to the Art Gallery Exhibition.”

More information on these events and more can be found on the City of Weyburn website.
