Local amateur weather specialist, Angie Brown, said on Monday morning that the weather should be good for the Little Britches Parade this Saturday.
Angie joined her Uncle Charlie on the 99.7 Sun Country Morning Show this morning, as she does every Monday, just after the 6:30 a.m. News.
"The rain was a beautiful sound to wake up to, for sure. Right now we're sitting at 6 degrees with our high of 12. We have rain today and a risk of thunderstorms this afternoon.
For tomorrow, Tuesday, we also have rain ending in the morning and then a chance of a thundershower in the afternoon with a high of 16.
On Wednesday, we are looking at an increase in cloudiness with a high of 20.
Thursday, 15 degrees with a mix of sun and cloud.
Friday, cloudy and a high of 14.
Saturday, parade day, cloudy and a high of 16.
Sunday, a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 17."
A snowfall warning has also been issued for parts of Kananaskis Country over the next 24 hours.
