Award-winning singer-songwriter Jeffery Straker is returning to the Mae Wilson Theatre on Thursday, June 5.

The show is presented by the Friendly City Optimist Club. Proceeds from the concert are going towards youth projects in the community, a cause that Straker is more than happy to support.

“It's so nice to know that there’s a group in Moose Jaw looking out for youth, trying to put some services and infrastructure in place to help them along,” Straker told Mix 103’s Calum McAnally. “Everybody who buys a ticket is supporting that, and they’re checking out some live music at the same time, and they get to do it in a great room. I think it will be pretty fun.”

Jeffery Straker talked about finding an unexpected fan in King Charles III, performing in grain elevators across Saskatchewan, and what you can expect when attending a Jeffery Straker concert. Listen to the full conversation below.
