The Humboldt and District Gallery teams up with Sage Hill Writing Experience for an event in partnership with the Spring Poetry Colloquium.
Award winning poets Marily Dumont and Courtney Bates-Hardy will present a reading on Saturday, May 24 at 2:00 pm. Everyone is welcome, and there is no charge to attend.
Marilyn Dumont will be teaching Sage Hill Writing’s 2025 Spring Poetry Colloquium at St. Peter’s College, and Courtney Bates-Hardy is a short-listed nominee for the 2025 Saskatchewan Book Awards.
These readings will be followed by a Q&A and a Community Open Mic. Both virtual and in-person audience members may read at the open mic. Open mic readings should be a maximum of 5 minutes in length and can be any format, not just poetry. If you wish to read, you may sign up to do so at the event.
