The crew at 104.5 More Country visited Hilton Ventures to thank them for all their hard work.
Spencer Hilton, a farmer with Hilton Farmers, explained to StrathmoreNow what a good season looks like.
"I guess what makes a good season for us in terms of what we are hoping for, is good moisture right to the surface, because then we can seed shallow and get the seed in the ground."
The farm is seeding canola, wheat, and barley.
Hitlon has spent nearly half his life in farming and still loves it.
"My farming career spans over 40 years now. I've been at this game for quite a while, seeing a lot of changes in terms of technology that we can use in agriculture. So, it's pretty exciting, and it's been a really good career for me."
The crew was served lunch from Baldwin BBQ.
