Christian singer and rapper Forrest Frank was recently on a podcast, in which he shared a story about following God's prompting and the incredible thing that happened next.

"I'm in Seattle and I feel like God is telling me to let my car run out of gas," says Frank in a recent podcast interview on The George Janko Show. "I don't know if you're familiar with the geography of Seattle, but there's this long bridge. I'm halfway on this bridg,e and the car runs out of gas."

It took Frank an hour and a half of walking to get off the bridge and find the nearest gas station.

"The whole time, I have complete peace. I go to buy a gas tank and I'm gonna walk it back. I'm pumping up gas and I hear a voice behind me, probably this 18-year-old kid, says, 'Yo, you need a ride?'"

The two set off, and the young man was playing a song that talked about smoking marijuana.

"I asked, 'Are you into music?' and he said, 'Yeah bro, I'm an aspiring rapper and I produce beats.'"

Frank asked if the man wanted to come down to his studio and have dinner with him, to which he replied, "Yes."

"He comes over and brings this friend with him. I got this really dark vibe from his friend. I'm making dinner for them and it ends up being weird, so they dipped."

Frank called the guy later, and while admitting that he didn't know him well, suggested that he not hang out with the friend he brought.

"He said, 'I've been trying to get away from that guy, it's crazy that you're saying this right now.' I asked him to come back so I could cook him dinner."

During this second dinner, Frank starts talking about God and faith with this young man. The conversation turned a little intense.

"I asked if he ever had a spiritual experience. He said, 'Oh yeah. My parents kicked me out when I was 17, and I found myself in this cult, that was a Satanic cult. There were rituals.'"

Throughout the time Frank listened, and at the end, he asked if he could pray for the guy.

"We went downstairs into my studio, and I put on worship music. I put a hand on him and prayed for him. I said, 'Can you say Thank you Jesus?'"

The guy went to say the words but couldn't get the name of God's Son out of his mouth.

"It was all kind of a blur, but I said, 'In Jesus' name, come out of this man.' I didn't see any manifestation, but I remember I prayed that, and then after he was able to say, 'Thank you, Jesus.'"

Frank kept in contact with the young man over the past few years and heard that the encounter they had had fully changed him.

The entire podcast interview with Frank is available on The George Janko Show.
