“We’re excited to bring the community together for such a great cause,” says Dana Williams, store manager at Dufresne Portage. “All proceeds from the barbecue will go directly to PAWS, supporting their incredible work with animals in our area.”

PAWS is a volunteer-run, no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to improving the lives of stray and abandoned companion animals in Portage la Prairie and surrounding areas. Operating through a network of foster homes and an Animal Adoption Centre, PAWS provides care, rehabilitation, and adoption services for cats and dogs in need.
