Members of the Elkhorn District Fire Department joined the effort to fight wildfires in Manitoba.

What is a community? A community is a shared sense of belonging, mutual support, and a collective effort to address common challenges and opportunities. It involves individuals working together towards a common vision, sharing resources and skills, and fostering a sense of unity.
This morning (May 30) 4 members from Station 1 answered that call and departed in TT-1 North to assist with the wild fires.
This would not be possible without the support of our community employing the Fire Department everyday to begin with. Our community knows no borders and multiple employers have answered that call above and beyond allowing these fire fighters to take extended time off work to assist our surrounding communities in their time of need. We can not thank you enough and greatly appreciate everything you do allowing us to drop everything when that call needs to be answered!
