Deloraine-Winchester members in Flin Flon, more to join the fight

Yesterday morning the Fire Commissioners Office (OFC) made arrangements and sent a plane to Deloraine and picked up two members of the Deloraine-Winchester Fire Department (Tyson Lehman and Rylan Rommelaere) along with two members from Killarney’s Fire Department and headed north to help out with the wildfires.

They landed in Pukatawagan and were then transported by military helicopter to Flin Flon.

Tonight, the OFC sent out an urgent request for help at Cross Lake and tomorrow morning if everything goes right three other members of our Department (Brandt Vancauwenberghe, Evan Colquhoun and Chris Manchreck) will be heading up there with our Brush Truck to help out there.
