Country Christian artist Anne Wilson has released a new single, sharing her very own "God Story."
"Wrote 'God Story' with my friends @matthewjwest and @jeffpardo while we were on the road this past spring," says Wilson. "Love collaborating with them."
Wilson's older brother Jacob passed away from a tragic car accident in June of 2017. He was only 23 years old, while Wilson was 15. The first time she sang in public was at Jacob's funeral, and that's what launched her singing career.
"'God Story' is so personal to me because it’s about those moments in life where you look back and think, ‘Only God could’ve brought me through that,'" says Wilson in an interview.
Her first single, "My Jesus," blew up the Billboard Charts in 2021 after it was released. This new single, "God Story," is also inspired by her brother.
“We all have a God story — times when He shows up in ways we never expected. My hope is that this song helps people see that even in the middle of the pain or the waiting, God is still writing something beautiful."
