After years of infertility, Cochren & Co.’s Michael and Leah share their miracle

The lead singer of the Christian band Cochren and Co., Michael Cochren, is celebrating a miracle with his wife, after almost a decade of prayers. 

"After 8 years of praying, longing, weeping, pleading for what we knew could only be a miracle - God has blessed us with a baby on the way," says Cochren on Instagram.

Cochren and his wife Leah, who is also a part of the band, know firsthand the pain of infertility. The couple is sharing this exciting announcement with all their fans while honouring others who are walking the same journey.

"To anyone who sees this pregnancy announcement and is filled with the same despair and longing that Leah and I have been hit with time and time again when reading similar posts, please know that we see you, but most importantly, God sees you - and He is near to the brokenhearted. He has been as faithful to us in our grief as He is now in our celebration. May you feel that same faithfulness."

Members from other Christian bands/artists gave the couple their congratulations, including the sibling trio CAIN, who also understand the pain of infertility and infant loss. 

"I would never choose to walk through these past years again, but I can say with full assurance that my faith, my music, and who I am as a person would not be the same without knowing the deep pain, and the deeper goodness of God in the middle of it all."

The couple have yet to announce when the due date for their little one is.
