The Drive, Dine, and Donate 50k Big Roll is coming back to Strathmore this Saturday (June 28).
The event is designed to give one person $50,000 to hopefully buy a home in the Lakewood neighborhood.
To win the grand prize, the finalist has to roll a huge dice.
Scott Silva, director of marketing and relations with the community of Lakewood, explained how the contest works.
"What happens is people sign up online. They like, follow, share our social media, and they can submit their name in our contact-us form on the Lakewood website. Ultimately 10 finalists are chosen, and out of that ten, five are then selected for the big role."
Entry to the contest has officially closed as of Sunday.
"This event has a little bit of everything. Face painting for kids, we've got Main Street Market down there, some vendors, and Origin Brewing is going to be there doing samples. it's just a great way to give back to everybody," Silva said.
The festivities will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Lakewood neighborhood.
