Worship will fill the air on Saturday at St. Vital Park.
Between powerful worship, soul-stirring spoken word and fellowship, Obed Borteye, District Evangelism Leader at Church of Pentecost Winnipeg Amazing Grace is excited for the time of fellowship. "I'm excited because souls are coming together, not just to worship God, but to open our hearts to God until we see from God, let's go out there with the Gospel. Let's take Winnipeg for Christ and I know that a lot will be a blessing to all of us."
This is the first time that the church has hosted an event like this. "In Matthew 28:19, the Lord asked us to go out and share the Gospel. So in accordance with Scripture, we are going on for the first time coming out and taking Jesus out there."
Winnipeggers are invited to come to St. Vital Park picnic area 1 at 12 p.m. on June 28 for the free event. "There will be amazing music. I don't want to give out so much, but we have an amazing playlist that we have lined up. So come and listen to one of the best choirs out here in Winnipeg."
