In addition to care services, Argent occasionally breeds dogs – most recently English Springer spaniels. She currently has two male puppies available for adoption: “the cutest little buttons,” black and white, eager to join their forever families. Many clients find their way to Argent through word-of-mouth: “Their friends are like, ‘Oh, we want a puppy. You’ve got to get ahold of this person.’” Repeat adoptions are common; families often return for a companion to join their first pet.

Together, they oversee care for a range of animals. “We look after exotics too,” Argent notes – though she draws the line at spiders.
