Murdoch leads Berries over 57's

It was another successful return to Mitchell Field for Swift Current's Ethan Murdoch.

He went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs and a run scored as his Saskatoon Berries beat the Swift Current 57's 11-4 in WCBL action last night.

Wilmer Henriquez hit a solo home run and scored twice in a losing cause for the 57's.

It was his 10th home run of the season.

The Berries roughed up 57's all-star pitcher Adam Korte for 8 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings of work.

Calvin Junek allowed only a run on 2 hits in 4 innings of his first start for Saskatoon.

The 57's host Weyburn tonight with a chance to pass the Beavers for 5th in the East Division.
