The PGA Tour's top golfer and recent champion at the British Open is once again sharing how important his Christian faith and family are in his life.
Scottie Scheffler recently won The British Open at Royal Portrush in the United Kingdom, shooting 17 under par on Sunday.
"My faith and my family is what's most important to me," said Scheffler during the post-tournament press conference. ""Those come first for me. Golf is third in that order."
Since the age of two, Scheffler has been playing or working on his golf game. Now at the age of 29, he has a few championship wins under his belt.
"Now, I've been able to win tournaments that I've just dreamed of playing in. It's an amazing feeling and I'm so grateful to be able to live out my dreams."
Priorities unchanged. Another major secured.

Nike recently created a heartwarming ad of Scheffler with a photo of him and his son with the caption, "You've already won."
Scheffler continues to attribute his success to a God-given talent, as he shared during a press conference back in 2024 after winning.
"So when I'm out there, I try to compete to the best of my abilities. I feel like that's how I was designed. At the end of the day, my identity's secure already."
