The City of Winnipeg will soon play host to two popular Gospel artists.

Sinach and Sunmisola are coming to the RBC Convention Centre on August 17 for a powerful evening of worship.

"These are two individuals that God is using in this time. Their voices are all over the world. Sumisola is one of the best of our generation and Sinach, the legend, award-winning with huge influence on this generation," Pastor Yettie from the organizing team said.

While big-time artists are no strangers to coming to big Canadian markets such as Toronto, Yettie is excited they're coming to Winnipeg. "Many times we have big concerts in Canada, in Toronto, this one coming to Winnipeg is one-of-a-kind. I don't think anyone wants to miss this. I'm really excited for it."

On August 17, she said that concert goers could expect immense joy. "The joy of a community, because every time Sunmisola and Sinach minister, there is the opportunity to light up yourself from every burden you've carried for too long.

"There's so much joy. People will dance, people will laugh, and then people will worship under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. It has been a blessing for us."

As far as what she is looking forward to, she's looking forward to hearing them together. "A duet between Sunmisola and Sinach. I've heard their songs individually, but when they sing together and look at each other, it's going to be firebranded.

Pastor Yettie is excited to welcome the community for Grateful with Sinach and Sunmisola. "This brings everybody together. You're Christian, you're Muslim, you're a believer, you're a non-believer. This is the time we all should come together. It's a concert that we're going to remember for a lifetime."

Grateful with Sinach and Sunmisola is on Sunday, August 17 at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg. There will be a red carpet at 5 p.m., before the concert starts at 6 p.m.

Early bird tickets are now available for $30 here, until July 31. Prices will then rise to $50.
