Kids ages six to 12 can paddle and play at the Weyburn Canoe and Kayak Club's summer day camps at Nickle Lake Regional Park, and with just three weeks of camp left, the club is offering a special promotion of a $10 price reduction to fill the remaining open spots.

Week 4 starts on Monday, July 28th, and week 6 begins on August 18th. New campers can sign up for $140 per week, and returning campers can sign on for $120 per week.

"We also provide drop-in, just let us know a few days before if you plan to have a drop-in, and the fee is $50 a day for that," shared Media and Communications for the club, Lindsay Sterling.

The camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with leaders trained in kayak and canoe skills offering activities such as paddling in kayaks, water fun and team challenges, outdoor exploration and nature fun, as well as craft time, skill-building, and more.

"You can drop off your kids and they will have so much fun learning to kayak and canoe, and paddle board, learning skills on the water, and they do all sorts of fun crafts. They do relay races, crafts, balloon fights, and safety on the water."
