I was so happy yesterday. I picked up a few things at the grocery store and at the check-out, I spotted OH HENRY candy bars on sale for $1.00. You know I bought two.

It made for a fun Facebook post and a number of friends reacted.

A friend my age asked, "Remember when they cost a dime?"

Yes, I do. It was back in the 70s. Chocolate bars and small bags of potato chips were 10 cents. You could get a 10 ounce bottle of soda for 15 cents.

Back then we could return our pop bottles to the corner store in exchange for cash but, of course, we'd use that money to buy more candy and pop!

Then, a friend who lives in the USA chimed in and said, "I miss those. Also Wunderbar and Eat-More!"

Apparently, you can't get those candy bars in the States.

And I wonder, does President Trump know about this? I'll bet he'd really enjoy an OH HENRY!

Then again, he'd probably slap a tariff on them.
