'Serve the community willingly': Freighthouse Food Bank is Danny's Lunch Break winner

The staff at Freighthouse Food Bank were the happy recipients of July's Danny's Whole Hog BBQ Lunch Break from CHVN on Thursday.

Freighthouse Food Bank is a food bank that helps members of its community and has been in operation for almost 30 years. 

The staff were nominated by a coworker who said, "They are a great bunch of people who serve the community willingly."

The nomination form continued, "It would be an absolute blessing for them to be chosen for a free lunch for all they do for the community."

CHVN was glad to deliver this delicious meal from Danny's Whole Hog, as well as some prizes, thanks to OK Tire Transcona, The Butter Tart Lady, Matthew Havelka of Vivico Real Estate, Cinden Group of Pharmacies, and Destiny Road Coffee.
