Christian band Tenth Avenue North recently made a trip to Manitoba, where they were greeted with an unusual welcome.

In a video posted on social media, the band is seen on stage at the Winkler Harvest Festival Sunday evening, where they ask their fans how they're doing.

In return, the crowd began booing the band. As lead singer Mike Donehey pretends to put his head down in sadness, the crowd starts cheering on the band.

There is a plot twist; the entire thing was all planned.

Tenth Avenue North went on to play a show for the crowd of 4,000, who in return sang along and worshiped with their songs.

The Color performed beforehand, and the event ended with a bang and a sky filled with fireworks.
