It's time for another Made in Manitoba with Grant Davidson, known on-stage as Slow Leaves, joining us again. The Winnipeg based singer-songwriter has a new album called "In Solitude, For Company", and it features a revisiting and re-recording of songs from his previous records.
Grant describes them as "stripped down" versions of the originals. Coming off both a European and United Kingdom tour earlier this Summer, Slow Leaves joins us tonight to reflect on his latest album and why he chose to go back in time and recreate these songs. The conversation will also include Grant telling us more about the process he took to create this album, after his previous effort had him pretty much doing everything from the music to recording to production to even the album art.
And how about that album title? In short, inspired by a poem and we'll learn about that, too.
