It's the second week of Folkorama, and the Classic 107 Cruiser continues its global exploration and visitation of different cultures.
The Cruiser was at the Polish Pavilion and the Brazilian Pavilion on Wednesday evening at the RBC Convention Centre, 375 York Avenue.
The Polish Pavilion had various dances and costumes from different regions in Poland. The Pavilion taught the audience the deep and rich history behind the patterns of the costumes and their symbolism.
There was also a traditional singing performance in Polish.
The Brazilian Pavilion shared distinctive dancing, singing, Capoeira, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu performances, all accompanied by vibrant and memorable live music.
Capoeira is a traditional Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance, martial arts, music, and acrobatics.
Wednesday night was memorable, and Classic 107 is excited to learn about more cultures for the remainder of Folklorama!
