The Local Sports Star of the Month is all about celebrating athletes of any age and any sport who inspire not just with their skills, but with their heart.

Maybe it’s Stella, the 75-year-old in Tai Chi class; Ethan, the 4-year-old who’s crazy for cricket; or Dan, your pickleball partner who keeps the whole court laughing.

Whether they’re a quiet leader cheering everyone on, mastering a unique sport, or simply the kind of teammate who always shows up and gives their all, we want to hear their story.

Nominate your Local Sports Star and tell us what makes them special—their effort, attitude, teamwork, or something uniquely them.

Each month, we’ll choose one Local Sports Star of the Month to be featured on-air and online, and our morning show hosts may even spend time learning from them and sharing their story with the community.
